HP CMAT - Himachal Pradesh Combined Management Aptitude Test

Combined Management Aptitude Test known as Himachal CMAT is Conducted By Department of Technical Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh, designated the Institute of Management Studies at Himachal Pradesh University in Shimla. HPCMAT Exam is organized for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs offered at various institutes/colleges and universities in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Courses Offered

• Two years full time MBA
• Doctoral Programme: The institute registers students (MBA) for doctoral degree in the Management Studies. The candidates having three years working executive experience after MBA or those who have qualified UGC-JRF / NET may get registered for Ph.D programme in management studies, if other wise eligible.

HPCMAT Eligiblity

• Graduate in any discipline

• from any recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% marks in the case of Scheduled Cast/ Scheduled Tribe candidate).
• Final year students shall be allowed to appear
in H.P. State Combined Management Aptitude Test H.P.-C (MAT), but their final admission is subject to their satisfying the above said eligibility condition.

How To apply/Selection Procedure

The application form along with prospectus can be obtained either from the institute’s cash counter by depositing the required amount or by post by sending a Demand Draft of the required amount in favour of “Director, IMS HP University”, payable at Shimla. The admission is based on competitive examination which comprises of applications ratings, Management Aptitude Test (objective type having multiple choice Questions), group discussion and personal interview.
HPCMAT Exam is generally Organized in End of Month Of May Every year.
